Couple of days back, we had seen the leaked images of the Blackberry Bold 9700, and now the official images are circulating over the web. The Blackberry Bold 9700 carries a codename Onyx and is believed to soon enter the smartphone market. According to IntoMobile, the Blackberry smartphone is apparently receiving the finishing touches. Apparently, CIO received the press images and also a few details of the BlackBerry Bold 9700.

By now many of you have seen the new BlackBerry Bold/Onyx 9700 in videos leaked on YouTube and from leaked images on pre-release devices.  When it’s not official it’s hard to tell whether or not it will actually look the same when it’s released.  I usually try to hold off my judgements of an upcoming BlackBerry until I see the first official picture released by RIM. Now we can feast our eyes on an official image first released by @ASacco from CIO.  As you can see the Onyx 9700 will indeed sport the Tour keyboard and the new trackpad.

RIM’s BlackBerry Onyx has been rumored for some time – unfortunately, no image has been available so far. This has now changed.
