Review: Samsung Galaxy i7500newtechnologydirectory.com

Exclusive to O2 in the UK, the Galaxy is a sleek proposition, but is it enough to consider the Koreans firmly in the Android game? The i7500 Galaxy has three obvious features when you pick it up: it’s very slim at 11.9mm thick, it feels very light at 116g and the 3.2-inch screen might not seem very large, but it dominates the chassis.

LG has officially announced its GW300 official in the UK, a budget QWERTY mobile phone designed to bring social networking to the masses. The new phone, which we brought you news of as the Viewty GW300 in France earlier this month, will be coming on O2 and Orange in the UK, with the former getting it in blue, and the latter in ‘vibrant red’ (we bet it looks a little bit orange). It’s not the most feature-rich phone LG has ever brought out, with a 2MP camera and a 2.4-inch QVGA screen not likely to set any pulses racing.

Project Pink are in fact a bunch of secret new phones, that are currently being developed in the Microsoft labs, away from curious eyes. However as it often happens, the labs aren’t as leak-free as the people in Redmond hoped. So what we have here are the first leaked pictures of the project Pink phones – Turtle and Pure. And those aren’t even some messy spy-shots we are talking about – it’s the official photos that weren’t well protected.

There’ve been persistent rumours for, ooh, ages that Microsoft would be making, at some point, their own mobile phone, under their ‘Pink’ initiative. However, things have got a bit more concrete, today, with pictures and a teeny bit of info being leaked, not about one phone, but about two Microsoft-branded phones.
